Board of Trustees Meetings and Agenda

The Board of Trustees meetings are held monthly and serve several important purposes:

  1. Governance and Oversight: The board ensures the school is meeting its mission and goals, and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
  2. Policy Making/Review/Update: The board, in conjunction with the administration, develop, review and update policies that guide the school's operations.  The board votes on the adoption of a policy.
  3. Financial Oversight: The board reviews and approves budgets, financial reports, and ensures the school's financial health.
  4. Strategic Planning:  The board sets long-term goals and strategies for the school's growth and improvement.
  5. Accountability:  The board holds the school administration accountable for academic and operational performance, including implementation of school policy.
  6. Community Engagement:  The meetings provide a platform for stakeholders, including parents and community members, to voice their concerns and provide input.

The agenda is created collaboratively between the administration and board of trustees, and then made available to the public in advance of the meeting.
